Twisted features,
A life, and dreams,
Torn to pieces
Lying by the roadside,
A girl without a hope,
With nothing left inside her,
Sobbing there.
The mirror her reality,
Her link to all that mattered,
Distorted her reflection,
The mirror,
Shattered.
A helping hand,
Warm to the touch,
Brushed away,
Not knowing what it is.
Tears fall,
Salty and wet,
Across the mirror they spread,
An ocean of sadness.
She saw herself,
Distant, scarred.
Wondered who she was now,
Who else could she be?
Lost in sadness,
Her luck gone,
Her link to her love,
Severed.

i was walking along the roadside today and I saw a shattered mirror, which made me think of this. I walked away, at first, but somehow I had to go back and look in the mirror, and see my distorted reflection, and take a little bit of the mirror for myself. Don't ask me why.
This piece of writing has vague references to Harry and Sirius's mirrors, and the thing, where if you break a mirror, you have 7 years bad luck.
